About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join the Merlin Health team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking medical letters and certificates, helping them navigate the proces.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to customer queries via email and live chat in a timely, courteous manner.
  • Guide users through our online form and evidence-upload process.
  • Liaise with doctors and the operations team to ensure smooth, secure delivery of documents.
  • Help identify and report common issues or areas for improvement in our workflow.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold data-protection standards at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in customer support, ideally in healthcare or digital services.
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with sensitive queries.
  • Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection.

About the Role

Help scale our digital medical documentation platform; build secure, reliable systems that make healthcare admin faster and safer.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain platform services, APIs, and internal tools.
  • Improve UX, performance, and security for patient/doctor portals.
  • Collaborate with product/ops/medical teams on new features.
  • Implement best practices for security, logging, and testing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with modern web stacks (e.g., TypeScript/Node, Python, or PHP) and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of API design, auth, and secure data handling.
  • Familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD.
  • Bonus: experience in digital health, compliance, or ISO27001.
